St Andrew BROCKLEY

St Andrew BROCKLEY

Welcome to St Andrew’s Brockley, in the benefice of Horringer. We are a relatively small congregation committed to our witness and worship of Jesus Christ as our LORD and saviour. Our usual pattern of services are 2nd Sunday of the month 9.30 Eucharist, 3rd Sunday of the month,  3.30/6.30 Evening Prayer, 4th Sunday of the month 9.30 Eucharist (shared alternatively with St Petronilla, Whepstead). See website service plan for up to date schedules

Aside from regular services, Congregations gather here for Plough Sunday, Easter, Harvest & Christmas services often shared with members of the Baptist Chapel. We are Christians in community united by our faith and fellowship and welcome all people to join us in a spirit of love and hospitality. Our church is lovingly tendered by Churchwardens and PCC and is a beautiful place to visit for prayer and reflection.

As ‘The Guide to Suffolk Churches’-D. P. Mortlock (revised 2009) Lutterworth Press, states “The church is picturesquely placed among open fields  north of the present village. A path runs alongside the moat of Brockley Hall farm through a meadow  to the base of the fifteenth century tower. The chancel stalls are Victorian with fifteenth century bench ends”.
